☕ CLAUS'S TAKE
Why AI Might Skip Your Store
AI shopping could become a $500 billion market by 2030. Most stores aren't ready.
Here's what AI actually looks for: clear data, predictable rules, and friction-free checkouts. If an AI can't quickly understand your store, it'll recommend a competitor instead.
Three priorities:
Turn product pages into decision guides. Add detailed specs, pricing, shipping times, compatibility, and a simple "Who it's for / Who it's not for" section.
Rewrite your policies. Returns, shipping, and FAQs should answer questions in plain English—not legal language.
Simplify checkout. Show the full price upfront, keep inventory accurate, reduce pop-ups, and make buying effortless.
Why it matters: The winners in AI commerce won't have the best marketing. They'll have the easiest stores for AI to understand, trust, and buy from.
Your move: Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude to recommend a product from your store. Every question the AI can't answer is a sales leak waiting to be fixed.
So here's my question for you: If an AI agent shopped your store today, would you even know?
Hit reply with YES or NO. I read every response.

See you next Tuesday.
