The surprising part?
They're not hackers.
They're often repeat customers with real payment methods, verified accounts, and a purchase history.
Meanwhile, many brands are fighting fraud so aggressively that they're rejecting legitimate customers at checkout. Some merchants lose up to 10% of good orders because their fraud filters are too strict.
Think about that.
A fraudster costs you one sale.
A good customer who gets declined may never buy from you again.
