🤖 META TRAFFIC TO AMAZON OR SHOPIFY? WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOUR BRAND?

As more brands build their Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Amazon presence, a common question arises: Should you drive Meta traffic to Amazon for the referral bonus or directly to Shopify?

The Short Answer: Drive traffic to your own website.

Why It Matters:

  • Control and Data: You lose optimization capabilities on Amazon since your pixel isn't there.

  • The Halo Effect: Boosting your website traffic can also increase Amazon sales.

What’s Happening:

You have less control over ad optimization and conversion tracking.

Amazon is a trusted platform, but this limits your direct interaction with customers.

Amazon restricts certain brands, requiring sellers to meet specific criteria, which can be challenging for smaller brands.

✔ Offers more customization options for marketing and SEO, and you retain full conversion data for better optimization.

The Bottom Line: Send traffic to your site for better control. Use Amazon buy buttons for referral bonuses. How will you optimize your Meta traffic?
